MY STORY
I began my journey in this field by earning a Bachelor’s degree in Contemporary Studies and Criminology from Wilfrid Laurier University. I then completed a postgraduate certificate in Addictions and Mental Health from Humber College. Finally, I completed my Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. Alongside my academic training, I’m a certified yoga teacher, which allows me to take a holistic approach to mental and physical well-being in my practice.
Being a trusted confidant and a safe space for others has always been a part of who I am, which naturally led me to a career in therapy. I’ve had the privilege of working as an addictions counsellor and completing my practicum through Yorkville in a trauma and attachment-focused setting. These experiences have deepened my commitment to this field.
Outside of work, I love spending time outdoors with my family, discovering new local restaurants, practicing Pilates, or getting lost in a good book.
